To provide for an efficient system of collection, storage and retrieval of Department records.
To ensure compliance with the New York State Criminal Procedure Law provisions regarding the sealing of criminal records.
To facilitate the proper access to Department records in a manner consistent with the law and the good order and operating efficiency of the Department.
To establish procedure for the prompt and efficient documentation of all requests for police service, reportable offenses and follow-up investigations related thereto.
